Vector Project Finished!

Well, I was working on the vector project...

well, okay, so I was playing Realm of the Mad God, but that's beside the point...

Anyway, I saw the Meanwhile At The Super Awesome Base meme, and I was INSPIRED! So I made a vector of that, instead.

It's probably pretty meh, but I like it anyway. Enjoy!

Pony Vector Project

I have made it my personal endeavor to sketch and vector my OC, in an attempt to increase my pony art skill.

The first step, for me, is to learn how to draw ponies. I can usually do a pretty convincing head, but to draw a full body with correct proportions has always escaped me.

When I finally finish everything, I'll post it to the blog.

Emergency post from a library time!

So, yeah, I'm going to be volunteering at a library as of next week. That means less time for posts, but it is a requirement for high school graduation, so it's unavoidable.

I have already started work on Chapter 5 of Everlasting Paradise, and as I expected it is going much faster than the previous chapter. Expect it done in a week or so.

Speaking of Chapter 5, it's the big reveal for the rest of the story, and answers the question of why Argent is in Equestria, anyway. Without spoiling anything, it involves technology. A LOT of technology.

Well, you'll have to read it to find out.

I suppose that waking up at 3 in the morning to play Minish Cap wasn't exactly a good idea, but it sure was rewarding.;

I'm also going to be playing a bit of Amnesia today... Because my personal wellbeing has been thrown out the window to give you guys more videos. Or, I might chicken out and play Lone Survivor instead.

This is the song that made me truly proud to be a part of the Brony fandom, and made me realize that it was okay to show this to my friends and family, and to stop being a closet brony. Good times...

Amber Spark OC -- Twilight Recoloring!

Well, I got bored again while my video uploaded, so I decided to make Amber Spark a bit more... lively. I whipped out GIMP with a vector of Twilight and set out to see just how hard it is to recolor a pony into your OC.

The results are satisfying. Not as satisfying as drawing it myself, but I have no idea how to do that, so this is as close as I can get to actually making new art. It took me about an hour to get the final product.

Oh, and thanks to the MLP Vector Club for the Twilight vector I used!

Oh my god I'm tired...

At least I have a nice day where I can just relax, make videos, and write my fanfic, right?

Right.

Anyway, nothing much has actually happened lately. I'm not sure if it's a side effect of me trying to relax and take it easy, or if life in general has just been slow. It's a bit unsettling...

The Midnight Brony (6/17/2012)

Well, it's back to summer school tomorrow... Somehow, I feel like I'm going to have even less time than last week. The good news is, there's a perfect time slot for me to record youtube videos in between the time when I get home and my brother gets home.

Well, enough chit-chat. Let's get some ponies in here!

I realized that my original OC was incredibly OP, so I redid him as Amber Spark, a unicorn with a knack for fixing and making machines and technology. I also made an OC for an anti-brony friend of mine, for no reason except I was incredibly bored that day. We had a bit of a rivalry going all school year, and the ponysona I gave him was Minty Hooves. He wasn't too much of a hater until he discovered Cloppers. Oh, all the stereotyping...

I might use this as my new Youtube video opening pic if my dad records with me. We fit the Applejack and Big Mac parts pretty well.

Personally, Fluttershy's Gala dress was my favorite. Pinkie's is still amazing, though.

I'm not sure why Fluttershy is wearing a dress, or why a human is involved, but I think this had something to do with the Brony Chat group on Facebook. Hmm...

More Pinkie Pie being cute! She definitely deserves more cute pics, along with Twilight. I usually see the other Mane 6 in pics like these.

This picture fills me with the strangest combination of sad sympathy and bitter happiness. I want to cry, but I also feel like laughing in spite. I need to vent some hate guys, I think I'm having a Love and Tolerance overload...

Deoxys pony? sure, why not?! There have been weirder crossovers.

100th Post Special: The Ultimate Brony Wallpaper Pack!

Introducing the Ultimate Brony Wallpaper Pack!

Over the course of my travels on the Ponynet, I have found several wallpaper collections. The biggest have been only a couple hundred wallpapers, however. It was when The Midnight Brony neared it's 100th post that I thought about doing my own wallpaper collection.

I searched Equestria Daily and DeviantArt and downloaded as many wallpapers as I could find. The end result was a gigantic package of over 500 wallpapers.

As usual, all credit goes to the creators of the wallpapers, not me. The pack also only consists of wallpapers that were free to begin with, so I'm not robbing them of any money they were earning. The names of who made the wallpaper are on most of the filenames. Please, if you like a wallpaper, go and drop a comment on it!

I will update the pack semi-regularly, or when I get a significant amount of new wallpapers. I've separated the wallpapers into 4 parts, due to the fact a gigantic upload simply isn't possible. (as it would cost a lot of money and time.)

There's not much to talk about today, except for the fact that I can't wait to get started on Chapter 5 of Everlasting Paradise. It should go much faster than Chapter 4 did. There's also more videos in the making, so expect those by the end of the day.

The Midnight Brony: Pictures That I Never Knew Existed! (6/13/2012)

Good evening, everypony!

I'm not sure how I have time to make this, but I did. Have some pony!

While this is an amazing picture, this disembodied head creeps me out a bit. If I block that out and look at the rest of the picture, though, it looks really nice.

OBJECTION! I've never actually played an Ace Attorney game, but I've watched someone else play one and they look like great fun. I seriously doubt I'd be able to figure out any of the puzzles, though. I'm more of an internet-blogging-fanfic-youtube guy.

 What is this... I don't even... Really? These two HATE each other with a vengeance! How is there...? Why did they...? Wait. Why is this even in my pictures folder?! *Glares suspiciously at Discord*

 Oh sweet Celestia, I love crossovers...

*gasp* Portal?! YES! I don't really have much to say about this, actually, except that Chell makes a... really good pony. *avoids comment about how cute pony Chell is*

Yet another picture that I had no idea existed in my pictures folder... I really need to have a better filing system for these besides "shove them all in the same folder and scroll a lot".

The Morning Brony (6/13/2012)

Ugh... Good Morning.

After the Bronycon livestream until like 10:30 at night, I'm pretty wiped. (I usually go to bed early and wake up at like 4, so it's an effort for me to stay up that late.)

I also haven't had any time to make any videos OR work on Everlasting Paradise since summer school, being forced to spend time with friends and family, and a whole slew of other activities that my parents have brought upon me.

See, my parents seem to think that I have nothing to do over the summer, so they give me a bunch of things that I need to do. Unfortunately, that spare time is what fuels the fanfic and the videos, so I'm slowly getting more and more aggravated about summer school. I just got out of school, I don't want to go back in!

*sigh...* sorry about that. Let's have some Morning Music, shall we?

Yay, acoustic! I just love the feel of this song. It's a lot lighter than a lot of the other stuff I listen too, so it's a welcome relief from all the pop, dubstep and rock that runs freely through my Favorites list.


In other news, I'm seriously thinking about re-starting The Morning Applejack segments. I know, as if I didn't have time already... I'll work it out, somehow.

Everlasting Paradise: Chapter 4 Complete!

Whew! It took a while, and I think I kind of lost all motivation partway through, but I finally finished Chapter 4 of Everlasting Paradise. Finally, FINALLY I can move on to Chapter 5, where all the exciting things happen.

The Morning Brony (6/11/2012)

Good morning, everypony. *yawn...*

I have summer school on the weekdays for an hour or two every morning, so my posts haven't been as frequent as i'd have liked. I'm also trying to focus more on my Youtube channel and fanfic.

On that note, I have a few new videos out this morning, which you can find here (minecraft custom map) and here. (Lone Survivor part 1) These videos are in craptastic 480p, as opposed to my usual 1080p, due to the fact that my videos had begun to back up on my drive and I needed to get them all uploaded. I am probably never doing that Minecraft map again.

Yeah, I know the song isn't directly pony-related, but the PMV was so great I just couldn't pass it up. I've had this on loop for a few days now.

Chapter 4 is almost done as well, for those of you following the fanfic updates. I hope to have it done by the end of today.

Summer vacation means more pony! Have some pony.

 

Titanic meets Friendship is Magic? I think that Lyra would just be happy to wear pants while riding a cruise ship made by humans. Either way, Ponies can make any movie worthwhile.

  Did anybody else think that those eyes were more than just a hallucination? I think it's a demon haunting Fluttershy or something. I guess that's what I get for playing Amnesia: The Dark Descent for too long.

Kamina Dash is best Kamina... or Dash... nevermind. Either way, the boundaries have been completely screwed. Gotta love boundaries.

This reminds me of Pikmin 2, and it's amazing clay ending credits. That reminds me of Pikmin 3 being announced. Nevermind, CUTENESS.

Summer Vacation

Hey guys, I just took my last Final today, and summer is upon us!
